Swimfit at Fleetwood YMCA

 

 

If, like me, you think that leisurely doing the breast stroke in the pool after you've been to the gym or a couple of lengths whilst going for a family swim makes you a good swimmer... think again!

 

I checked out the Swimfit programme that is happening at YMCA's across the Fylde Coast on a chilly Tuesday in Fleetwood and I can honestly say it was a brilliant workout and it's easy to see why it becomes addicitive. Scott and Steve run the class that gives you a lot of indiviual attention to get the most about your time in the pool

 

A lot of focus is on your swimming technique to build up your ability, improving your fitness and becoming a better swimmer. Everyone in the class was great, really friendly and there were people of all ages taking part.

 

The facilities at Fleetwood are great, the pool's lovely and the gym looked really good too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Disco Dave's Spinning Class is legendary at Garstang YMCA.

If you're looking for a really good workout to some great music, book this class!

I love Presenter Fit Club with YMCA, it really inspired me last year – so this time I want to see if it can benefit the whole family.

My Daughter's nearly 10 and since she got a couple of games consoles I've noticed she's not been as active… So the family memberships available are exactly what I was looking for.. http://ymcayactive.org/join-us/memberships-to-suit-you/family/

We decided for our first session to go to our local YMCA in Thornton and try out badminton after school… It was brill!

We booked one of the courts for an hour and it flew by… we had such a laugh and really worked out too.

Can't wait for the rematch!
