Blog 1 – Eating for Britain!

It’s the first couple of days of the ProMuscle Challenge and I’ve received my diet plan for the next week – I can’t believe the amount of food I’m going to be eating!

If I’m not at Radio Wave, I’ll be in the gym or I’ll be cooking and eating!

Here’s how I described my diet to Kirk at ProMuscle before he devised my plan

I know my diet could be better; I always start with good intentions. I usually have a bowl of porridge for Breakfast sometime between 6am and 7:30am

I will admit at around 10:30 - 11am is where I'm prone to grab a chocolate bar at work and lunch is usually around 12:30 where I'll have something from the local catering van- usually a club sandwich, lasagne with chips or whatever the special is (with chips)

Tea is between 5 and 5:30 again this could be healthier - I need to get more fruit and veg. I have tea with my Daughter about 3 times a week so it's sometimes pizza, pasta or something quick and not as healthy as it should be.

My positives are I drink a lot of water, decaff coffee with no milk or sugar.

I’ll admit I’ve fallen out of the routine of going to the gym, so I’m looking forward to getting focused and motivated. Also, I’m an early bird. I like to get into the gym and get the workout done at the beginning of the day

Looking forward to the first gym session... but first it’s off to the shop to get everything I need for my new diet
